Hi there!

I am a researcher in the field of cognitive neuroscience, currently doing my PhD with Dr. Daniel Schneider at the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors (IfADo). In 2025-2026, I am a visiting researcher with Prof. Elkan Akyürek and Dr. Wouter Kruijne at the University of Groningen.

My research focuses on working memory, a fundamental cognitive system that temporarily maintains information over short time scales (typically seconds) to achieve behaviour, ranging from searching for your favourite cereal on supermarket shelves to combining information to come up with super-creative ideas. Put simply, I work on the mind’s workspace.

My work brings human neuroimaging (mostly EEG), psychophysical and computational methods to explore the adaptive nature of working memory as a function of goal-directed behaviour.

If you are interested in collaboration, literature discussions, sharing your thoughts on my research, please feel free to get in touch via email.
